Return of Title IV Funds on the Web includes a quick view of students with post-withdrawal disbursements of loan and/or grant funds at a complete or an incomplete status.
To access the Students With a Post-Withdrawal Disbursement view, click Student Record Status on the R2T4 menu. A list of available student record status reports appears. Click View next to the Status Information row for Number of Students With a Post-Withdrawal Disbursement.
Select “Which Post-Withdrawal Disbursement records you would like to view?” and the page will display records with a Post-Withdrawal Disbursement based on the student’s withdrawal date. You can update the date your school notified the student or parent of the crediting of a post-withdrawal disbursement of loan funds to the student’s account, the date the school offered the post-withdrawal disbursement to the student or parent, and the date the student or parent responded to the offer.
Note: After you answer “Yes” to any Post-Withdrawal Disbursement completed? question on the student’s Post-Withdrawal tab, the student is removed from the applicable Students With a Post-Withdrawal Disbursement status page, but can be printed on the Students With a Post-Withdrawal Disbursement Report if you select All for the PWD Status field on the options page, prior to running the report.
Click Submit to save your changes.
Note: The Return of Title IV Funds Web site uses different worksheets to perform calculations for R2T4 and Post-Withdrawal Disbursement student records, depending on the student’s withdrawal date. Different fields will appear, and different calculations may be made, depending on the worksheet version you are using. Note the following guidelines:
- Student records with a withdrawal date on or after July 1, 2008 are calculated based on provisions in the College Cost Reduction and Access Act (the CCRAA) of 2007, Pub.L. 110-84. For more information, click CCRAA.
- Student records with a withdrawal date on or after July 1, 2006 and prior to July 1, 2008 are calculated based on provisions of the Higher Education Reconciliation Act (the HERA) of 2005, Pub. L. 109-171. Certain changes related to the HERA also apply to records with a withdrawal date on or after July 1, 2008. For more information, click HERA.
- Student records with a withdrawal date prior to July 1, 2006 are calculated based on pre-HERA regulations.
