Yes. If the information on your FAFSA is incorrect or your school determines that the information needs to be changed after they verify your application, you can use Corrections on the Web to correct your answers.
However, you cannot change your Social Security Number (SSN) using Corrections on the Web. Your SSN can only be changed by entering the correct one on a paper Student Aid Report (SAR) or the financial aid office at one of the schools listed on your SAR can change it for you. If you need a paper SAR you can call the Federal Student Aid Information Center to request a copy. Refer to the Customer Service page for contact and assistance information. Otherwise, you must file a new FAFSA with the correct SSN. If your marital status changed since you filed your application, you should contact the school's financial aid office for assistance.
