If you want to correct your latest transaction and don’t know the transaction number, leave the FAFSA Transaction question blank and the system will find your most recent transaction.

If you received a paper Student Aid Report (SAR) in the mail, you can find the transaction number on each page of the SAR in the lower right corner, right after your Social Security Number and the first two letters of your last name.

If you printed your SAR from FAFSA on the Web, you can find the transaction number in the upper right hand corner right after your Social Security Number and the first two letters of your last name.
