For independent students and dependent students who correct only student information, the correction is processed within 3 to 5 days. If we have a valid e-mail address on file for you, you can expect to receive an e-mail within 3 to 5 days after submitting your correction application. The e-mail will provide instructions to access your Student Aid Report (SAR) online.
If no valid e-mail address is on file for you, or if the correction was processed without calculating an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) (because it was missing signatures, etc.), a SAR will be mailed to you. You can expect to receive your SAR in the mail within 7-10 days after submitting your correction application.
For dependent students correcting parental information,
a parent's signature is required. Signature pages
can take 7-10 days to reach us by mail. To avoid delay, we recommend that
your parent sign your correction application electronically using their PIN.
