The response indicates the total number of people in the student’s household in 2007-2008.

This number includes:

• the student and the student's spouse,
• the student's children, if they will receive more than half of their support from the student from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008,
• any unborn children if they will be born during the school year,
• people not included above who live with the student and will receive more than half of their support from the student from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.

If the student is Independent, the response cannot be blank.
