If you are not sure which application type was filed, use the following list as a guide:.

• FAFSA on the Web (usually used by first-time financial aid applicants)
• Renewal FAFSA on the Web (used to reapply for financial aid for a new school year)
• FAFSA Correction on the Web (used to correct answers to a processed FAFSA).
