If you submitted your FAFSA using the Web and have a confirmation number, you can call Customer Service for assistance.
If you submitted your FAFSA using the Web and do not have a confirmation number, this means your FAFSA was not submitted. A saved copy of your application may be available for you to retrieve and submit. To retrieve your saved application:
- Go to the FAFSA on the Web home page and select "Open Your Saved FAFSA or Correction Application". You will need your password to retrieve your saved application. If you do not remember your password you may call Customer Service to have your password reset.
If no saved application is found, you will have to complete and submit a new FAFSA. You must select the "Submit My FAFSA Now" button at the end of the application to receive a confirmation number.
If you submitted a paper FAFSA, maybe it has not arrived at Federal Student Aid for processing yet. We recommend you check your application status again in a few days.
