Signing the FAFSA with a Signature Page

To submit a FAFSA and sign it using a printed signature page, follow the steps below. Read all the steps before beginning this application.

  1. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and fill out the FAFSA.
  2. At the signature section of the FAFSA, print out a signature page by selecting the Print button (or by selecting File, Print from the menu bar).
  3. When the signature page prints successfully, select the Submit My Application Now button on the last screen on the FAFSA application.
  4. Print the confirmation page.
  5. Sign the signature page and mail it to Federal Student Aid (the address is on the signature page).

Finished! You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) by e-mail or by postal mail.
